Extra-deep shape:

Our fitted sheets have an extra-deep (12"/30cm) "box shape", which pulls down deep over the mattress - so the sheet completely covers the bottom and sides of the mattress whenever the bed head or leg sections are adjusted.

Fully-elasticated top and bottom sections:

We don't just put a few inches of elastic at each corner of our sheets because we know that doesn't work for mattresses on electric adjustable beds. We put elastic across the entire width of the top and bottom of our sheets - which makes them very easy to fit and stay in place.

High quality and hard-wearing:

Our close-weave 50-50 polyester-cotton fabric is made to last for years, even with regular washing. Natural cotton gives the sheets and pillow cases a soft feel and helps provide a cool night's sleep. Polyester fibres are there to provide extra strength.

Colours:

Remember most electric bed mattresses are longer than mattresses for static beds. Some electric adjustable bed mattresses may be 190 cm (6ft 3") but most are 200 cm (6ft 6") long. Take care to measure your mattresses carefully before placing an order online. Please contact us if you are unsure which size to order.

Handy tip: raise your bed head and leg sections before you fit a sheet over the mattress corners - much easier than kneeling awkwardly on the bed and trying to stretch the sheet over a flat mattress.

The self-inflating lumbar support with elastic straps and Velcro fastenings.

The removable self-inflating inner core, comprises a high-quality ripple foam pad inside a sealed vacuum pack. With a push-button air control valve.

Once the back support is fixed in place, press the air valve button with your thumb and lean on the back support quite firmly. Keep your thumb pressed on the button as your body weight forces air out the vacuum bag inside. Then take you thumb off the button and the back support will remain quite flat.

When there is no air in the back support, the foam can be compressed to about 2cm deep.

Gently rest your lower spine against the back support. Press your thumb on the air control valve. The foam will start to expand, drawing air into vacuum bag, which will swell into the curve of your lower back. When the back support has reached the shape you quite like, take your thumb off the button. You can repeat this procedure as many times as you like; bear in mind your back can feel quite different on some days, so altering the support’s shape fairly often is a good idea too.

When fully expanded, the backrest foam can reach a depth of about 5cm

This pillow was developed in the University Clinic Hospital, Lund, Sweden. It is designed to counter uneven downward pressure on the vertebrae whilst slightly extending and relaxing the neck. It supports the spine and is slightly concave to accommodate the shoulders. Made from cold cast polyurethane foam which dissipates heat. It allows you to sleep on your back or side.

All Sissel orthopaedic pillows feature a substantial support to the lower cervical spinal column.  As a result the entire shoulder and neck region are well-supported.  Due to its unique angle, the pillow fits in between the shoulder and cervical spinal column, filling the space between, supporting the neck and gently leading the spinal column into the anatomically correct position.
