The Varioflex electric adjustable bed base is our premier sit-u-up system, with independently adjustable head and foot ends, flexi-slat base with resilience settings, telescopic head section and reinforced adjustable lumbar support.
The Varioflex bed base: 26 lightly-curved flexible wooden slats of layered, coated beech. Wave profile slats for good ventilation. Double-adjusted tension slats in the lumbar zone. Softer shoulder zone (thinner slats) Slats fixed into resilient and flexible joints with three bed-edge resilience settings (especially useful if it is hard for you to stand up from the bed). Telescopic headrest section which provides the mattress with extra support in the 'up' position (helpful if you want to spend a lot of time sitting up in bed). Two x 10,000 Newton motors with safety batteries and electrical safety cut-out feature.
