 VAT Exemption

C.S. Ergonomics has to charge 20.0 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT) on all the items sold on our website.

Qualifying zero-rated products include those designed or modified solely for use by people with a disability. To be eligible for this VAT exempt price, the intended user must be medically disabled or suffer from a long-term illness. Customers do not have to be registered disabled to claim relief, but they will have to declare how they qualify for exemption (e.g. coccydinia arthritis, heart disease), on a VAT exemption form which can be submitted electonically below or downloaded by clicking here.

The VAT exemption form is a simple self-certified declaration and does not need to be signed by a doctor or accompanied by any other certificate. We just require the form to be filled in and signed by the product user, or someone doing it on their behalf.

Customers please note

If you wish to claim VAT exemption on a product on our website, please complete and submit the online form below, or print off, fill in and send us your signed VAT exemption form. If you are sending us the form by mail please include a note, with your telephone number and explain which product you wish to order. We will contact you and take your order over the telephone.
